Go Red for Women Works to Reduce Deaths from Heart Disease
A New Jersey resident and real estate investor, Donato Marinelli lends financial support to several charitable organizations. Donato Marinelli focuses on efforts to raise money and awareness surrounding cancer and heart disease by organizations such as the American Heart Association.
The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign recognizes that heart disease kills more women each year than all other types of cancer, diabetes, and accidents combined. As part of its efforts to improve female cardiovascular health and reduce deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke, Go Red for Women funds lifesaving research and advocates for public policies that protect and educate women.
To join in the fight against heart disease, which kills one in three American women, supporters can purchase special Go Red for Women merchandise, including t-shirts, office supplies, water bottles, wristbands, and lapel pins. Supporters can also organize a Wear Red day at their school or place of work, encouraging everyone to wear red and make a donation. All proceeds from Go Red for Women support critical research and improve scientific knowledge about cardiovascular health.
